this in turn, makes for a very dangerous situation on a freeway blast, if you try to "shut the throttle off". The return Pull spring is very vague, and does not offer delicate feedback as to when it's fully closed. as a temporary fix, I kluged an additional spring, alongside the original one, to insure 'snap back operation" during my 500 mile+ ride home, where i did my replacements. this is a dangerous situation, as I noted, I had this occurr. now, in simple terms, there is nothing preventing you from "over turning the throttle", creating a condition the return comes loose, and wedges up in the grip. Click to 's not a push cable, it's a pull cable, which is pulled by spring force, BUT ther is nothing stopping the rotation past the point where the spring hits the stop.
